was great to meet you this evening Dennis. this photograph works well, the smoke from the fire adds a nice soft edge to parts of the pic which contrast nicely with the sharp edge sections. I don't read the desperation of a fire but do read the feel of summer. Let the pic tell its story rather than trying to impose "facts" upon it. Its story maybe the more valid.
